OVERVIEW

Course begins with a thorough examination of the rotary tool as a power carver. Uses, safety practices, and carving techniques are explained and demonstrated. Student will shape, pose, glue up, paint and set eyes, torch, paint and antique entire piece while learning basic carving and symmetry techniques. This is a great 'first project'. Student will develop strong basic carving techniques and safety practices, while building confidence as a novice power carver.
